With the age of 30 quickly approaching, I have found myself growing out of lip gloss in the last year or two. I really don't want my lips to be sparkly or obnoxiously shiny at this point in my life. At a recent visit to the MAC counter, a makeup artist and I were talking about lip gloss and I told him that I felt I had grown out of my lipglass. He pulled out MAC Cremesheen, which I had tried before and really like how the texture was smooth and creamy without being tacky or sticky. I also liked the fact that there were no sparkles! He called Cremesheen "Big Girl Gloss" and I was sold!
A lipgloss tube is wonderful, but again being almost 30 and working hard for what I have, I feel proud and love to buy quality items and take care of what I own. Packaging can really sell a woman! YSL has come out with a happy medium between "Big Girl Gloss" and lipstick which is packaged in a white gold tube with rose gold detailing. What woman would not love to pull this beauty out of her cosmetic bag? I am not ready to commit to the pigmented color and precision of a lipstick, so YSL's new Volupte Sheer Candy has been a new favorite of mine. With the shine of a gloss and the moisture of a lip balm, Volupte Sheer Candy is a an easy way to look polished without being over done. You can find YSL at http://www.sephora.com/ for $30.00 each.
Volupte Sheer Candy is available in 6 shades:
Lush Coconut
Dewy Papaya
Juicy Grapefruit
Luscious Cherry
Mouthwatering Berry
